Flash is Our Friend

The concept of using flash and the versatility it can bring to capturing a subject even in bright ambient light can enhance the detail of your subject. This photo was shot on a pond at 11am, using my camera and flash in Manual mode. The key is to remember that your shutter speed controls the ambient light and your aperture setting controls the amount of Flash Light.

Here is the link to a great book that has been very helpful to me and my use of flash.

Thank you Bryan F Peterson for your book Understanding Flash Photography

The photo was processed in Lightroom with only cropping and some minor adjustment to Exposure.
