Today I made the drive north to the place where many years ago I viewed a space shuttle launch at Kennedy Space Center. Today I viewed an entirely different scene on Merritt Island which is home not only to the Space Center but also a wonderful wildlife refuge.
I have seen many pictures from this area most of which are birds and other wildlife but in this post I will feature instead a landscape photo. In further posts I will show some photos of some of the birds I was able to shoot in-between the torrential downpours.

These do not look real. The reflection is so perfect.

Otters, any spots where these critters have a hang out?

Unfortunately there is no one good place to see otters. I have seen them out there but never in the same place. They like to roam around a lot! Maybe pump house road, but closed to cars, need to walk. Or Gator road, but it’s a long road. They like to hunt along the edges of the water along the banks. They stay hidden and are hard to see. Good Luck!
