Last week we traveled to Portland OR.
What a beautiful city the flowers are everywhere and I understand why it is the Rose city. Roses spilled out like weeds into the street, over the side walks definitely a sight to behold. We stayed at the Hotel Deluxe on SW 15th Ave it was a nice Hotel and the service was outstanding. It was clear and cool the first day out but the next few days were rainy and cold.

Great photos! I am originally from Portland, you should try and make it to the Japanese and Chinese gardens if you get a chance. There are also some great buildings around the Brewery blocks and Pearl district area. There is also a Korean war memorial near the zoo that offers great photo ops if the weather allows.

We did not get to the gardens the rain and cold were not favorable for those outings. It is a wonderful town and I look forward to another visit hopefully with better weather next time.
