Yesterday my main goal try out a fisheye lens but I was happy that I brought another camera with me. Why? Well shortly after arriving as I walked near the pier to line up a shot I see a beautiful Sea Turtle just finishing up laying her eggs. I have seen them other places but directly under the pier that was a first. Here are a few photos of this wonderful creature unfortunately I was unable to get a shot of her going into the surf. There was about 40 or so people crowding the scene with their i-Phones. Thankfully there were a couple people on the scene from the LOGGERHEAD MARINELIFE CENTER and they went to work marking the nest which they will watch over and perform daily checks until they hatch.
Wow that is really cool. Isn’t it kind of rare to find a sea turtle laying her eggs?

Oh you are so very lucky to have seen this. I can’t tell you how jealous I am. Especially since I’ve visited that center several times. A pro photographer – always prepared. Brilliant!
