Sea Shell City

Today as we returned from brunch at we decided to stop in at Sea Shell City which is one of many classic Florida souvenir shops. It opened in 1960  and is still selling a slice of Florida that I as a Florida native have never understood. As a child I would visit a similar place in Dania Alex’s Gift Shop which opened in 1963 and was mesmerized by all the weird stuff that my family from Canada were so excited about. But I guess we all no matter what place we call home have these classic tourist destinations in which odd items exist called souvenirs.

So what odd things inhabit your local souvenir shops? Check it out sometime you will definitely see something unique.
