Here is a simple but most often forgotten photo tip. I am guilty of this myself and was reminded by Bryan Peterson’s book

why it is so important to turn the camera sideways. Why? It is important if you make your own books or submit photos to magazines to have your special shot in Landscape (2-page spread) and Portrait (Book/Magazine Cover!). Sure you say well I could crop the wide shot but guess what, it is just not the same.
